VIRTUAL CLASSROOM

We understand that, with the current precautions due to COVID-19 you may need to split your class into smaller groups. You are more than welcome to join on multiple devices, all using the login and installation information below.

What do you need?

All you need is your computer with a webcam and microphone (alternatively you can participate without a webcam/microphone). You will require an internet connection to download the meeting software. Please allow 15 minutes to complete the install process. Ideally, you will set up the day before the meeting so that if you have any problems with your audio or video you can contact us for help and support.

How do you join?

Install the Virtual Classroom meeting software

Go to the following link to download the meeting software.

Locate the Zoom Client for Meetings and click download.

Windows PC's the downloaded file to install is called ZoomInstaller.exe.

For MAC the downloaded file to install is called zoomusinstaller.pkg.

Run this file and install the software.

Connect to the Virtual Classroom.

After the install Zoom will start, or if you installed earlier, start the Zoom program.

Click the join a meeting button.

Enter the meeting ID (This can be found in your confirmation email).

Enter your school name. - This part’s important, as it will make it easy for our farmer and our teacher to identify your school.

Click join.

Click join video/audio conference by computer.

Click View Option drop down menu.

Select side by side mode.

Once you’re in the Virtual Classroom, you can adjust your video and audio settings by clicking the small up arrows next to the audio and video buttons on the lower left hand side of your screen.
